is set to music that grates with dissonance one moment and revels in sensual melody the next metopera And, yes, she does appear to strip completely, revealing a glimpse of full frontal nudity for a microsecond before being hastily wrapped in a robe by her attendants Mattila isn't the only strong singer in the cast Baritone Albert Dohmen, in his Met debut, makes an imposing Jochanaan, vocally and physically Sometimes it's danced by a double, more often by a soprano who is hard-pressed to move gracefully Juergen Flimm, who collaborated more successfully with the Finnish soprano three seasons ago in Beethoven's "Fidelio," has trapped her in a split-level stage set (designed by Santo Loquasto) cluttered with ramps, stairs and overhangs Mattila does better than most at swaying seductively,
