One Production is casting a 10 minute short under the Screen Actors Guild Short Film Agreement. Under this agreement, salary is deferred. Actors will receive a DVD copy of the film & the production will operate under the guidelines of SAG. Principal photography is scheduled December 12 & 13, all day. Rehearsals are scheduled for December 5 & 6, 4-6 hours each day. Please submit headshots & resume only. Casting Director will reply to schedule an audition. One Kid is intended for film festival exhibition and the director's reel.

Synopsis:
A family Passover Seder frames conflicted ideas about how to integrate traditional Jewish values with progressive politics. Ari, the youngest son, comes home and brings his new boyfriend along. Ari's family is comfortable with the fact that he's gay, but have different reactions when they discover that his boyfriend is not Jewish.
