We are an original established 3-pc band (gtr/bass/keys) looking for an experienced, creative, well-rounded, and motivated drummer to jump on board for live shows, recordings, etc. Our sound is an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, funk, and soul w/ dabs of reggae, motown, and alternative-pop. We also have a fondness for experimentation, imrovization, and psychedelic flair. Our influences include: PinkFloyd, GratefulDead, AllmanBros., Phish, Zeppelin, Hendrix, BobMarley, theMeters, Radiohead, JamesBrown, theBeatles, and theStones to name a few, along w/ any classics from the motown, jazz, and blues sounds of yesteryear. We have plenty of quaility existing material ready to go w/ a thirst to produce more. We are looking for a drummer who is willing to learn and play our existing material as well as help us develop some new material and grow from there. Someone who would preferably be available to practice at least 1x if not 2x a week, w/ the goal of preparing to play out and lay down some quality promo demos asap. We are flexible in our idea of the perfect drumming candidate but we'd prefer to find someone in their 20's or 30's, though I guess we could be open to the youngster phenom or a compatible, slightly-aged mastermind. The focus of the band is on original creations though we do have the capacity to dabble w/ some choice select covers if the mood should strike.
