Ambar Kaiser
About Me: I have always felt a magnetic pull towards the performing arts since I can remember: when I was 7, I tape-recorded my own, one-person *radio show* about Squeak, the guinea pig rock star; by age 8, I had convinced my mother to let me sing and dance in community theatre. My passion for performing, as well as my hyperactivity as a child, helped propel me first into gymnastics, and then into what I considered the most dramatic sport around, figure skating. The 10 years I dedicated to figure skating led me to become a nationally-ranked, championship level figure skater. However, most of my favorite skating memories are from performing in various ice shows as a soloist and as a group member. Those opportunities only mildly assuaged my desire to act. I retired from competitive figure skating and finished my B.A. in psychology this past May, but the bite from the acting bug, that I had felt so many years earlier, is still present and the itch is stronger than ever. I'm interested in acting for television, film, music videos, theatre, and commercials.
