Innate artist, extraordinary and talented are just a few words to describe fourteen year old Emily Tosta. Emily has been in the entertainment business since the age of six when she discovered her talent for singing, acting and dancing. At that same age, Emily started being recognized by the media because of a photo shoot for the distinguished magazine A la moda in Dominican Republic. Emily started her acting career at the age of eight , with the role of a banker in the well known musical The Pied Piper of Hamelin. Then, she began refining her skills in music and acting and was booking jobs in those fields, landing her first acting job in Annie : The Musical. It wasnt before long that this Santo Domingo native was getting roles in various musicals such as The Miracle of Fatima, Alice in Wonderland, Cats, Like in Broadway, A Christmas Adventure in Broadway, to name a few. Her youthful determination and irrefutable talent has also taken Emily into other artistic fields. She has been featured in print advertisements for such companies as Dino Cookies, La Sirena Kids, Tamarindo YA, Emilia Tosta Jewelry, and D.E Enterprises, among others. She has also starred in numerous commercials for brands as Carnation, Dominican Qoala, Claro TV, Malla Group, and some more. In addition, Emilys TV credits also include guest-starring roles on spanish shows such as Noche de Luz, Hola Gente, Navidad Espectacular and Sabado Chiquito de Corporan (her participation here was done in such an extraordinary way that she was called to be the hostess of this four hour live show in which she gained the audience's hearts.) During her time of hosting the program, Emily interviewed very famous celebrities such as The Jonas Brothers, Enrique Iglesias, Alejandro Sanz, Sonia Sosa, Juanes, Miguel Bose, Jean Carlos Canela, Emilio Uribe, Nicolas Felizola, Bernhard Seifert, Doctora Margarita Cedeño de Fernandez ( first lady of the Dominican Republic ), Amelia Vega ( miss universe 2004 ), Fernando Villalona, Eddie Herrera, Milly Quezada, Stanley Javier ( mayor league baseball player ) to name a few. Emily has also booked roles in films such as Just Do Good, Trapped and Un Cristano En La Secreta. She has also been featured on Lexies music video Party All Night and Rob Mariel Oleas Un Momento Contigo. Furthermore, Emily has done important runaways such as Dominican Fashion Week 2006, Virginias House Beauty and Fashion Fair, Jaragua Hotel Beauty Fair and Pink Runway. However, it doesnt stop there, Emily did her first professional singing gig at age twelve when she performed the National Anthem in a recognition act in the city of Miami for the Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice of The United States of America. Emily devotes a lot of her time helping the community. She was part of the Telemarathon for Haiti organized in Dominican Republic, in which she said some hopeful words for the Haitian people. Continuing with her mission of helping those in need, Emily directs the birthday party of a boy called Ivan, who suffers from HISTOCYTOSIS and who's dad was killed.
